For me, I was craving some much needed pool time, rest and some relaxation. I started my search in the greater Los Angeles area. I wanted to be close to home, yet transported to a magical daycation. I loved having access to the full resort and all the many amenities provided. When entering my beautiful room that was peppered with 70’s flair and old Hollywood charm, I felt instantly transported to a different place and time. After catching up on a little work all while taking in the views surrounding The Garland, I decided it was time to get changed up and make my way down to luxurious pool area. I loved spending my day soaking in not only the warm Californian sun but also that much needed rest and relaxation that I was craving.
Around mid-afternoon, it was time to check out but my daytime hotel did not stop there. I spent my afternoon exploring the North Hollywood galleries, immersing myself in the local theatre and taking in the artistic ambiance of local trendy cafes. I loved the neighborhood’s creative vibe and it truly was the perfect day use hotel.
When driving home, I found myself reflecting on all the beauty, arts, nostalgia and magic that this day vacation provided. I felt energized while relaxed all at the same time and ready to take on the week ahead of me!
