Grab your Besties! We are heading to the fabulous Las Vegas strip, in Heidiisms Style, of course! We stayed at one of my favorite resorts, the Venetian! I love this Italian inspired resort complete with grand canals both inside and outside with some of the best shopping!
Let’s cover the rooms next! Every room at both the Venetian and Palazzo are all suites with separate living areas and sleeping quarters! The bathrooms are so elegant with double sinks and separate vanity area, perfect for girls trips! And speaking of girls trips, if your single & ready to mingle, TAO is right downstairs and usually brings all the boys to the Venetian yard/casino 🙏🏻
This trip, my girl, Brooklynn and I headed out to Vegas for a little fun & the Rise Festival. Our first night in Vegas, we dined at Mott32 at the Palazzo. Mott32 features some of the best and most authentic Chinese Cuisine. P.S. I’m still dreaming of the dumplings 🥟 (Brookie I know you are too!) We had the best waiter too! He picked our entire dinner and got the flavor palette perfect for us!!
After dinner, we kept the Vegas fun going at Electra. Electra is a fun lounge right on the Palazzo casino floor. We tried out the Zodiac drinks (based on your birthday) and fell in love! After a couple of drinks and a little dancing we made our way out to test our luck 🍀 at blackjack, roulette & the slots 🎰
The next morning we booked a gondola ride at the Venetian. This has been on my bucket list for so long now and couldn’t have imagined doing it with anyone else but my girl! The gondolas you can choose from inside or outside. We went with the outdoors for the natural lighting (yes, I love my pictures) and open air ✨
After a quick outfit change, we were ready to head to the Rise Festival! The Rise Festival is about 35 minutes from Vegas in the Jean Roach Dry Lake Beds. You can either jump on the shuttle or drive to this location by buying a parking pass or shuttle pass ahead of time!
Whenever I say festival, immediately my friends think (Coachella, Stagecoach, etc) but Rise is really different. It’s a beautiful experience, magic really.
Picture being out in the middle of the desert 🏜 with soul-inspiring music 🎶, amazing company, your own area to relax, dance and so many community areas to connect.
Once the lantern releases start it really is something that touches your soul. I usually shed a tear of happiness every year. It’s so beautiful to see everyone come together to set intentions, let go of the past & heal together in at this magical festival- like no other!
Some Heidiisms tips for Rise:
Wear comfy shoes that you don’t mind being covered in dirt (they will be brown by the end of your Rise experience)
Bring warm clothes for once the sun sets. The temperature drops quickly and it gets chilly quick.
Bring a cozy blanket (again that you don’t mind getting dusty) to make your cozy spot to relax
Don’t forget your camera or extra battery pack for your phone. I go into airplane mode during the festival so my battery doesn’t drain and I can be present in the moment.
Have your tickets printed (very little reception). You can purchase tickets here.
After the final lantern release and fireworks we made our way back to the Venetian for some yummy Sushi Samba 🍣 before heading to bed. PS the beds at the Venetian are a 10 on my comfy scale. We all know I love a good hotel bed!
The next morning we grabbed some quick snacks at Go Greek at the Venetian/Palazzo one of my favorite spots for frozen greek yogurt. Try the honey flavor (yes you can thank me later) 💕
Be back soon my ISMS family as we explore Santa Cruz next!
xoxo Heidiisms 💋
