Hey my ISMS family! We just returned from Vegas for the ultimate Galentine’s Day and I have all my recommendations for you!!
We stayed at the beautiful Venetian Vegas resort located in the middle of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. It’s conveniently located near the Las Vegas Convention Center and a quick ride to other Vegas locations. The Venetian boasts the beautiful Renaissance of Italy, complete with grand entrances, water canals and so much charm. This is one of my favorite resorts on the strip and instantly transports you to Italy in Vegas.
The first night after the Super Bowl we made a reservation at Majordōmo. Majordōmo is in The Palazzo tower of The Venetian and offers smoked meats, seafood, a raw bar, and drinks to complement all the above.
We loved the upscale & luxurious atmosphere. Some of our favorite dishes included Oysters on the Half Shell, Wagyu Strip Steak, Crispy Brussel Sprouts & Alaskan King Crab. For drinks, we tried the Smoked Cocktail which came family style and was prepared table-side. We also loved the Wakatake “Onikoroshi” Demon Slayer Junmai Daiginjo Sake. For desert, we chose The Major Doughnut which is prepared table-side with three pan fried krispy kreme doughnuts, vanilla ice cream, banana flambé and delicious caramel whip cream!
After our bellies were full, we headed over to Electra for one of the specialty astrological cocktails before trying our luck on The Palazzo gaming floor. During the days we headed over to Magic at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Don’t worry loves our whole Magic Fashion experience will be covered in my next blog post!
For night two, we made our way down to the Grand Canal Shoppes which features a beautiful indoor canal beautifully intertwined with shopping & dining experiences. The canals are also complete with gondola rides and some very talented Italian singers paddling each boat. We made our way to Sushi Samba which is one of my favorite restaurants in the Palazzo.
Some of my favorites are the Samba Strip roll with maine lobster, mango, avocado, soy paper, lotus root chips and aji honey truffle, Tonkotsu Ramen & Japanese Wagyu to be cooked on your table-side personal hot stone and complete with dipping sauces. After dinner, we headed back to the casino floor for a nightcap at Rosina Cocktail Lounge which brings all the bougie roaring 20’s vibes.
Day Three we were up early and after a fun but long day of walking we opted to have a bathrobe room party and order room service complete with champagne & strawberries for desert. For dinner we chose some Italian classics like pizza & lasagna. The room service is delicious and the set up in the living room was perfect for night three vibes of a Vegas Vacation.
For our final day, we took our tired feet down to the Canyon Ranch Spa located right on the property. The Canyon Ranch Spa has so many treatments available or you can do a day pass which gets you access to all the experiences within the spa including a Salt Grotto, Wave Room, HydroSpa, Experiential Rains, Finnish Sauna, Crystal Steam Room, Herbal Laconium, the Igloo and more. Each room is a completely new experience and the perfect way to unwind before flying home!
